Fine Adjust the Window Recording Area
Henrik
In windows recording, when a window is selected for recording, please add the ability to adjust the recording area by grabbing any of the edges of the dotted outline. This will allow users to crop away unwanted parts, such as the address bar or favorites bar in a browser window.
Proposed Improvement:
- Adjustable Borders: Enable users to drag the borders of the selected window recording area to fine-tune the capture region. This feature would provide a more precise and user-friendly way to exclude unnecessary parts of the window.
- Privacy and Clutter Reduction: This adjustment is crucial for privacy reasons and to reduce visual clutter in the recording. While the "Custom" option exists, it's much easier and more intuitive to select "Window" and then adjust the borders as needed.
For reference, consider the functionality offered by Screen Studio.

Bug: thin/dark bar at the top of the recorded window
Mark A.
Bug: When you start the window recording, there is always a thin/dark bar at the top of the recorded window. This makes the recording look a lot less qualitative.

Better Window Cropping
Dannan Kelly
a lot of the time there just a like an extra invisible border on some windows so if lets say for example if you use arc the hitboxes are bigger around edged focusee uses them to capture windows but ther is no control to adjsut in focusee after we cant crop inward to allow for a clean window capture look , i was expecting inset to this but instead add a whole other border again and insets that , which is almost uselessness , think this inset functio should jsut inset the orginal windows capture not add new color or border ?
