New recording added to the previous clip

It would be great if we click on new recording after stopping once, would add the new clip right after the previous one.

I agree and came on to suggest this feature. In Camtasia all recordings show up in a project window in the app so you can combine recordings. 
Also, the pause/play and record buttons are confusing. I paused a recording for a break but when I went to record again I hit RECORD, NOT the play/pause button beside it. I think those should be simplified so I don’t start a completely NEW recording by mistake (which can’t be added to the same project), OR perhaps a pop up asking if I want to RESTART my existing recording or BEGIN a new one if I hit record.

This should hands down be the top most rated request. Basic text annotations should be on that top priority list as well.
The idea that I can't combine 2 clips or "continue where I left off", this really keeps me from purchasing this software. 
While the  zoom affect is top notch and simple enough, the idea that I can't put a text overlay, an image overlay or, either combine or add video to one another makes this a tough purchase.
